OVERVIEW

Nahda University (NUB) is a prominent private institution located in East New Beni Suef City, Upper Egypt. Established in 2006 through a presidential decree, it holds the distinction of being the first private university in Upper Egypt. Founded by a group of university professors, NUB was conceived to address the educational needs of the region and to cultivate a generation capable of contributing to societal progress.

ELIGIBILITY

Undergraduate Programs Eligibility

  • Applicants must be at least 17 years old by the end of the admission year.

  • Completion of 12th grade (higher secondary education) with a science background, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

  • Generally, a minimum of 65% marks in these subjects is required.

  • For medical programs like MBBS, a valid NEET score is mandatory for some countries (e.g., India).

  • Good proficiency in English is essential since many programs are taught in English.


Postgraduate Programs Eligibility

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

  • A minimum grade of “Good” or equivalent in the undergraduate degree.

  • At least one year of professional experience in the related field after graduation.

  • English language proficiency is required, and applicants may need to pass an internal English test.

  • Submission of all necessary documents like transcripts and certificates is required.
